Photo Book Template

By the end of this semester we have to make a photo book with our work. So for this assignment we were asked to design a page layout for the book. I used the already made template made by Sister Esplin and added my own touches (colors, damask, quote, and my pictures). I used the clipping mask tool to place my picture inside of the set frame which makes it a lot easier to fit the picture inside.

Night Light Shot

In this assignment we were told to go shoot at night. I used a tripod or something to sit it on for all of these shots. I really like trying to get the starburst light effect in my light shots.

HDR

In this process called HDR (High Dynamic Range) I took three different shots using a tripod on the bracketing setting. I took these shots at three different exposures (+1, 0,-1). I was not yet able to figure this out on my Nikon so I used my Sony DSC-H50. Then I took these three photos and combined them into one in a program called Dynamic Photo HDR and did some more minor adjustments (ultra contrast was one of the adjustments).
